About Me
I’m Tomás Guimarães, also known as Tom Kløver, a Lisbon-born musician, producer, and sound designer. I first picked up a guitar at nine and never really put it down. By sixteen I was producing hip hop beats in Ableton Live, which opened the door to exploring new genres, learning different instruments, and diving into recording, mixing, live sound, and eventually sound design for film and multimedia. Two years of studying jazz guitar deeply shaped my playing and production style, and since then I’ve worked with artists across Lisbon, played shows for crowds of 2,000+, recorded in top studios, and kept experimenting with ways to blend music, sound, and technology.
Alongside producing and performing, I run the music program at Independent Lake Camp in Pennsylvania, USA, leading 17 staff and helping 75–100 kids per session learn instruments, form bands, perform live, and record their music. I hold a BA (Hons) in Music & Sound from the University of West London, where I gained experience composing music for TV and film, editing audio for multimedia, and creating sound design from scratch. My background in Product and Industrial Design also feeds into my work, giving me a design-minded approach to creativity and problem-solving. At the heart of everything I do is a love for collaboration and storytelling through sound, whether it’s producing a song, mixing a record, or crafting immersive audio for a project, I want the work to feel alive and connect with people.
